Loads of prayers for Kirsten and her family.

I have a friend that was in an accident during a tri a few months ago. He is doing fine now after 8 weeks of recovery, but there were two other racers involved. One of the other two ended up with a broken back. A teen driver, under insured, panicked because of the traffic cones and crashed right through them and in to the three racers...It can be dangeous and it breaks my heart to hear about things like this.

I truly hope Kirsten will be okay!

Oh my gosh, Karen! That totally sucks! Kind of scary too. If you can't catch these guys or get your bike back, maybe auto theft insurance can cover some of the cost of buying a new one. Hmmm, bike shopping time :-)

It's always so much fun to do races with friends....even if you aren't actually racing it with them, it's cool to cheer them on, or have them cheer you on at the finish line!

Congrats... I remember leaving the bank to own my own company and I'll tell you - it wasn't easy to get into the groove at first. But it came with time... I made it work for me. And now I wouldn't give it back for any amount of money.

I'm excited for you - and I told Tom about things... we're planning on making a trip up!

First - congratulations! That's a big scary move, but I have no doubt you'll do great.

In terms of working out - I totally understand. I was told I was being laid off and even though I don't have an end date it really put me in to a tail spin and I can't seem to do a workout to save myself. Then I've started hunting for a new job and every time an appt comes up I find that it stresses me out so much that I forego working out.

I'm trying to figure out how to deal with it all and get back on track so I do understand what you mean, but I know that you'll get back on track and rock your workouts very soon!
