I killed it...

or maybe it killed me. ha ha... This is BY FAR my favorite pic of the day. I think it was around mile 20. Clearly I am out of my mind to be lying in dirt for a photo op. I was brushing dirt off my backside for the next few miles!

More to come tomorrow, Right now, I am rushing home to avoid SNOWJAM 2011 (in Atlanta, we like to name our snow storms since they are infrequent and always shut down the city). I love it when it snows on my birthday so want to be home to see it (that and avoid getting stuck somewhere on the road since we don't deal with snow very well here in the south).

The short version of the race - SO MUCH FUN, tired legs and blisters the size of my pumpkin sized head. LOVED IT!

Awesome! I love that pic but I don't think I could get in the dirt like that! ick! Yay! Goofy Challenge done! Details! Personally, I'm hoping we do not get snow...maybe it will all be in Atlanta for your birthday, and stay north of us in South MS.

YAY, I can't wait to hear all the details! LOVE the picture, totally made me laugh! Careful driving home, I know you southerners can't drive very well in that white stuff...or more so, there's lunatics that think they can still drive ridiculously fast in the white stuff.

I was surprised to see the grave diggers outside of Animal Kingdom - so odd, but cool :)!

hahaha. not sure what disney reference graves are but ok :) that is an awesome picture. not sure i would be able to get up after laying down mid-marathon!

people make fun of the south for shutting down for snow but they are lame. they are jealous that they have to continue on as normal instead of getting snow days! and they conveniently forget that we don't have salt or plows... :)

The line was SO long for the grave diggers when I ran by that I had to pass :(

Hahaha awesome picture! That was around mile 18 and my friend's husband did the same thing...he laid down in the dirt! LOL We stood behind the graves to take a picture! I loved that Disney had those guys positioned right at that point...cause that's when everything starts to hurt (for me at least)! lol
